01How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial if your organization has never had an active subscription. No credit card at signup — Stripe asks for one at checkout, and you can cancel before the trial ends without being charged.
02What do I save with annual billing?
Two months. Annual billing charges the equivalent of 10 months for 12 — Starter drops to CA$190 per year, Team to CA$890, Business to CA$1,990. Flip the annual toggle on the billing page; Stripe handles proration automatically.
03What happens when I hit a plan limit?
At 80% of a limit you get a warning in the sidebar and an email to the owner. At 100% the action is blocked — new imports, invitations, or collections return an error until you upgrade or delete. Existing content always stays accessible.
04Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, so you keep the higher plan until then. Cancelling drops your organization to Free — your assets stay where they are, you just can’t exceed Free limits anymore.
05Is DesignVault compliant with Loi 25 and GDPR?
DesignVault is built in Québec and designed for Loi 25 and GDPR from day one. We publish a DPA and a full subprocessor list, encrypt Figma tokens with AES-256-GCM, and isolate every organization’s data at the database level. Read the DPA and the subprocessor list.
06What does the AI in Business actually do?
It auto-tags every import by style, mood, content, and palette, powers semantic search across your library, and flags near-duplicates before they pile up. Every suggestion goes through human review — nothing changes in your library without your approval. Details on the AI search feature page.
